EVENT MANAGER

We’re seeking a seasoned Event Manager to join our multinational PR agency. This client-facing role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at relationship-building, and can confidently bring ideas to life through exceptional event experiences.

As Event Manager, you’ll take the lead in conceptualising, planning, and executing events—from product launches to press conferences—that align with our clients’ PR goals. You’ll be the go-to expert for all things events, trusted by clients and internal teams alike.

This role offers growth opportunities, particularly for individuals with experience or an interest in integrated communications, as you’ll collaborate with various teams across the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business objectives and translating them into impactful event strategies.
  • Lead the planning and execution of a variety of events, including launches, activations, media events, and corporate gatherings.
  • Oversee full event logistics—from venue scouting and vendor negotiations to budgeting, staffing, and on-site coordination.
  • Collaborate with account teams and creatives to ensure events are aligned with wider PR campaigns.
  • Lead internal and external teams, including junior staff, freelance crew, and suppliers, ensuring flawless delivery.
  • Maintain and expand a strong vendor and venue network, securing favourable rates and high-quality service.
  • Proactively bring fresh, strategic ideas to clients and internal stakeholders, adding value beyond the brief.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and deliver actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in event management—preferably within an agency setting.
  • Strong client management and presentation skills; confident in communicating directly with senior stakeholders.
Fluent in Thai and English, with clear, persuasive verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and high-pressure situations with ease.
  • Sharp eye for detail and a flair for creative, engaging event concepts.
  • Proactive self-starter who can work independently and bring new ideas without being prompted.
  • Comfortable working across cultures and time zones in a diverse, international team.
    Collaborative, adaptable, and relentlessly solutions-focused.
